The Sparsh Foundation organized a session on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’ for the students of Grades VI & VII on April 15, 2023 in the school auditorium. The resource persons were Shri Naveen Jain, IAS Officer, Secretary Panchayati Raj, Government of Rajasthan; Dr. Reena Vyas Associate Professor & HOD Dept. of Zoology, SPC Government College, Ajmer; Dr. Anita Khurana, Associate Professor, Sanskrit, SPC Government College, Ajmer; and Dr. Pushpa Dodani, Associate Professor in Jomo Kenyatta University, Kenya& Founder Principal of Sacred Heart International School, Congo. They made the students aware of the difference between safe and unsafe touch, personal safety rules, and how to deal with strangers. They also told them the three steps of the ‘no, go, tell’ strategy to avoid bad touch when alone with a stranger. The students were informed about using the child helpline number 1098 against inappropriate touch.
