The students of Grades I and II participated in the story-retelling activity held on July 8, 2023. The students of each class presented a story given to them through actions, facial expressions and voice modulation. The students made use of props and exhibited an outstanding display of their oratory skills by enacting the stories of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ and ‘Polar Bears’.
The activity taught the students to identify the elements of story-telling, like main characters, setting, storyline, and sequence of events. The students also honed the 21 st century skills namely communication, collaboration and creativity.
