We commemorated the birth anniversary of Gandhiji and Shastriji on October 2, 2023. On this occasion, the students of Grades V to IX attended a special assembly to imbibe and follow the glorious trails of the two noble souls towards a peaceful and prosperous world. The students shed light on Gandhiji and Shastriji’s life and their invaluable contributions to India’s freedom struggle and their ideals of truth and non-violence through a speech. A devotional ambience prevailed as the school choir sang some of the favourite bhajans of Gandhiji. The students of Grade V performed a choral elocution on the two legends. The celebration concluded with the Principal urging the students to imbibe the values and principles of Gandhiji and Shastriji and to choose the path of self discipline, unity, resilience, truthfulness, honesty and cleanliness in their lives.
The students of Grades Nursery to IV participated in an array of activities like making Gandhiji’s spectacles and charkha, writing slogans & quotations of Gandhiji and Shastriji. The students of Grades X to XII watched a short documentary on the lives and works of Gandhiji and Shastriji.
