SPICMACAY organized a Bharatnatyam dance performance by renowned artist Ms. Padmini S Upadhya at our school on May 4, 2024. The students of Grades VII to IX witnessed the epic episodes of Ramayan and the childhood acts of Lord Krishna portrayed by Ms. Padmini S Upadhya. She was accompanied by vocalist Shri Shreesha, instrumentalists Shri Sridhara S.G. on nattuvangam and Shri Pranav on mridangam. The students were in awe of the dancers & intensity and power. The ecstatic dance performance portraying the characters of Lord Rama, Goddess Sita, Shri Hanuman from Ramayan and Lord Krishna left a lasting impression on the viewers, who were overjoyed to see a display of such energy and finesse. Ms Padmini also spread the message of universal friendship, peace and harmony by depicting the five elements of nature through her mesmerizing dance acts.
