It was a memorable day for us as our school celebrated its glorious and flawless 40 years of foundation on July 4, 2024. We celebrated the foundation day of our school with grandeur, gaiety, and enthusiasm on the theme ‘The Disciplined Mind’. The Director, the Principal, and the Secretary of St. Stephen's School Society, Ajmer lit the ceremonial lamp before the portrait of our Founders Shri Gilroy Martins and Dr. (Mrs.) Deepa Martins. The students presented a short cultural programme showcasing a vibrant array of performances, including a choral elocution, a mime highlighting the Kalinga war and its impact on King Ashoka, a Hindi play featuring the importance of being focused towards our goal, and a group song. The students were full of energy and left no stone unturned to make the event a big hit. Members of the governing body, former staff members and parents also graced the event. Their benign presence made the day very special.
The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2024-25 was held with great solemnity. The Principal administered the oath of office to the newly elected Student Officials. The office-bearers pledged to uphold the values of the school and to shoulder their responsibilities with the utmost dedication. On this occasion, the Director and the Principal presented official badges to the office-bearers. The programme concluded with the singing of the school prayer.
The school in its entirety actively participated in a variety of class-level activities with an emphasis on the theme. The students made clay models, performed yoga and aerobics, and wrote a few lines on worksheets displaying icons of what discipline looks like - at home, in the classroom, during assembly, and in the library.
