INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION


We celebrated the 78th Independence Day infused with a feeling of patriotism and fervour. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri Pritam Singh, RJS, Additional Senior Civil Judge & Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, 02, Ajmer, Rajasthan. The Chief Guest hoisted the Tricolour followed by the rendition of the national anthem with everyone standing tall to salute the Tricolour. The programme started with a smart & spectacular march past by the platoons of the NCC, Guides, Scouts, the Four Houses, Bulbuls and Cubs. The other highlights of the day were a synchronized drummer’s call, an inspiring speech, rhythmic gymnastics, a group song and a lively dance performance showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage. The Chief Guest in his speech appreciated the performance of the students and emphasized on setting a common goal for the development of our nation by dissolving all our differences. He also urged the students to cultivate a habit of playing a sport and using technology in a constructive manner.

The celebration concluded with the Vote of Thanks presented by the Head Boy.
