TREE PLANTATION

Afforestation is a regular feature at St. Stephen’s. The Management, members of the Staff, students of Grades III to V, NCC cadets, Scouts and Guides, Eco- Club members, Office-Bearers and Class Monitors went on various Tree Plantation Drives from August 13, 2024, to August 17, 2024, and kept the tenet of one of our core values of Environmental Management alive. They played the role of green warriors and planted several saplings of various tree species, including neem, mango, and peepal, in designated forest area surrounding the vicinity of the school with a promise to set a positive example for the community.

The plantation drive was graced in the presence of parent, Shri Rajeev Kajot, an active environmentalist. The Principal encouraged the students to become active custodians of the environment and take ownership of environmental initiatives and develop a sense of responsibility towards nature.

The Plantation Drive was an initiative to increase the green cover and to sensitize future global citizens about the relevance of their contribution to the environment.
