THE TWENTIETH DR. (MRS.) DEEPA MARTINS MEMORIAL ANNUAL INTER-SCHOOL HINDI DEBATE AND INTER-SCHOOL EVENTS- RANG MALHAAR AND SCRATCHATHON
The Twentieth Dr. (Mrs.) Deepa Martins Memorial Annual Inter-School Hindi Debate was successfully hosted by our School on August 22, 2024. Thirty participants from fifteen schools participated in the impromptu deliberation. The participants showcased their excellent research work and critical thinking skills and put forth their points in a persuasive, concise and efficient manner on the topic, ‘??????? ??? ??? ????? ??????????? ?????? ?? ?????????? ????? ??? ????? ??’?The team of St. Paul’s Senior Secondary School, Ajmer,won the first position and bagged the Running Trophy. Mayoor School and Aryan Public School were adjudged the First Runner-up and the Second Runner-up respectively.
This year marked a significant milestone for our esteemed institution as we celebrate 40 years of excellence in education and holistic development. To commemorate this momentous occasion, our school hosted its inaugural inter-school events, Scratchathon: a Game Designing Competition and Rang Malhaar: a Poster Making Competition for young aspirants from the Primary and Middle School. These events aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration among students from various schools.
The celebrations began with great enthusiasm, with students from different schools across the region participating in the competitions. In the Poster-Making Competition, a total of twelve schools took part, represented by the participants from Grade VIII. The participants unleashed their artistic expression and creativity and designed meaningful posters on the theme, ‘Sustainable Development Goals 2030’. The participants creatively depicted different SDG goals, illustrating their understanding of the SDGs and their targets. St. Stephen’s Senior Secondary School, represented by Kartavya Choudhary, bagged the first position. Mayoor School and Maheshwari Public School secured the second and the third positions respectively.
Simultaneously, the Game Designing Competition provided a platform for young minds to showcase their technological proficiency and creative skills. A team of eight schools represented by young learners from Grade V added vibrancy and competitive spirit to the event. The students created fun and educational games like, Maze, Shooter, Snake, Race on Scratch, catering to the nuances of coding, designing, and educational technology. The team of Maheshwari Public School secured the first position whereas Satguru International School and Mayoor School bagged the second and the third positions respectively.
The inaugural inter-school events were a resounding success, setting a benchmark for future events.
