We celebrated the Fortieth Annual Sports Meet on December 21, 2024, with great enthusiasm and excitement. The Chief Guest for the occasion, Shri Raju Lal Choudhary, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Jaipur, Rajasthan and Indian International Kabaddi Player presided over the function. The sports day began with the Chief Guest raising the school flag and declaring the Sports Meet Open. It was followed by an impressive and well –coordinated march past by the platoons of the four Houses, showcasing their discipline and unity. The athletes fiercely contested in various track and field events, the 100m, 200m. The highlights of the day were the inter-house relay races and the tug-of –war which kept the audience on the edge of their seats. The competitions were held with high enthusiasm, and the spirit of sportsmanship prevailed throughout the event. The other attractions of the day were the Drummer’s Call, a motivating Group Song, a rhythmic Gymnastics display and aerobics. The Chief Guest congratulated the winners and awarded them medals and accolades. The Blue House won the trophy for the Best House in Games and Sports and also bagged the trophy for the Overall Best House, adding yet another feather to its cap.
The Chief Guest in his address emphasized the importance of sports and physical activity in fostering teamwork, discipline, resilience and for holistic development. He also exhorted that parents should encourage their wards to join professional sports and have a nutritious and healthy diet to be fit.
The Annual Sports Meet ended with the Chief Guest lowering the school flag with the Beating Retreat, leaving everyone with memories to cherish. Overall, the Annual Sports Meet was a grand success, promoting the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork among the students.
