The Farewell Party for the outgoing Grade XII students was held with great enthusiasm and warmth on February 8, 2025. The event, themed ‘Bloom and Glow,’ was a heart-warming occasion filled with memories, emotions, and celebrations.
The celebration began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, placed before the portrait of the school founders. This symbolic gesture represented the beginning of a new chapter, filled with the light of knowledge and wisdom, and it was a fitting tribute to the pillars of the school. The lighting of the lamp was followed by the school prayer, invoking blessings for a bright and prosperous future for the departing students.
The energy of the event was elevated by captivating dances and musical performance by the students of Grade XI as they took the center stage with a perfect blend of soothing and lively tunes on a medley of songs. The music resonated with nostalgia and happiness, drawing the seniors into a moment of reflection and emotional connection.
The outgoing students had light hearted moments as they engaged themselves in fun-filled games and enlightened the audience with their song and dance performances. A few students also shared some memorable moments spent in school. This was followed by a Valedictory Speech presented by the Head boy and the Head girl. The speeches reflected on their years at school, the highs and lows, and the lessons learned. It was an emotional moment as the students expressed gratitude for the guidance and support of teachers, classmates, and the school, while also acknowledging the challenges and growth experienced along the way.
The Director and the Principal presented souvenirs to the senior students as a token of their love and appreciation.
The solemn candle ceremony began on the note of auld lang syne representing the journey of the senior students and the new paths they would take, and shoulder on their knowledge, leadership, and responsibility to their juniors.
The party concluded with inspiring speeches by the Director, the Principal and teachers which filled the ambience with positivity. They reflected on the importance of embracing new challenges and opportunities, urging students to carry the values and lessons learned during their time at school into their future endeavours.
