We paid homage to the Co-Founder and the First Secretary of the Governing Body of our School, Dr. (Mrs.) Deepa Martins, on her twenty-second death anniversary on April 22, 2025. The Director, Principal, and Secretary of St. Stephen's School Society, Ajmer, lit the ceremonial lamp followed by an inter-faith prayer service, where prayers from multiple faiths were offered in harmony, reflecting the inclusive values she championed.
On this occasion, the students and staff took a Tribute Pledge, ‘We Carry it Forward’, reaffirming their commitment to her ideals of education, compassion, and integrity. In a heartfelt address, the Principal spoke about Ma’am Martins’ unwavering values and her vision for holistic education and urged everyone to continue walking the path she paved with such devotion and sincerity.
The Director highlighted her enduring optimism and inspirational legacy and reminded everyone how her strong values and optimistic spirit continue to motivate the school community even today. The ceremony concluded with a floral tribute by staff and class monitors, honouring her lifelong dedication to the school and its values.
