The Eco Club celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2025, with a series of hands-on activities promoting environmental stewardship and sustainability.
The students of Grades III to V visited the nearby forested area in the vicinity of the school and actively participated in a clean-up drive, collecting dry leaves and twigs to be naturally decomposed into organic manure, reinforcing the importance of eco-friendly waste management.
Meanwhile, students of Grades VI and VII contributed to the school’s sack gardening initiative by sowing seeds of brinjal, lady finger, and cluster beans. They also planted saplings of mango and guava, fostering a deeper connection with nature and promoting green practices.
The celebration successfully instilled a sense of responsibility towards the environment and highlighted the importance of sustainable living.
