The students of Grades VI to VIII participated in the Inter-House English Turncoat Debate on May 2, 2025. Four participants from each House expressed their viewpoints with clarity, confidence, and well-researched arguments on the thought-provoking topic: ‘E-Vehicles are the Best Solution for India’s Pollution.’
In the unique Turncoat format, speakers showcased their versatility by switching perspectives at the ring of a bell, demonstrating both sides of the argument with insight and fluency. The event featured spirited competition, logical reasoning and impressive oratory skills, reflecting the students’ deep understanding of the issue.
Blue House emerged as the overall winner, followed by Gold House in second place and Red House in third. In the individual category, Petal Tak (VI E) secured the first position, while Venkatesh Tanwar (VI B) and Reyansh Lalwani (VIII C) bagged second and third positions respectively.
The debate served as an enriching learning experience, fostering critical thinking while raising awareness about environmental challenges and the role electric vehicles could play in shaping a cleaner, greener future for India.
