We celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great patriotism and enthusiasm. Dr. Chandresh Kanwar, Assistant Commandant, Border Security Force and an esteemed alumnus of our school, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He hoisted the tricolour amidst the rendition of the National Anthem, with everyone standing in solemn attention.
The programme showcased a smart and synchronized march past by the NCC, Guides, Scouts, and the platoons of all the four Houses. The school brass band delivered a powerful display through the Drummer’s Call, followed by an impressive gymnastics performance, a musical drill, and an inspiring speech.
The Chief Guest appreciated the discipline and coordination of all the marching troops. He emphasized the importance of regular exercise and March Past, describing them as the foundation of discipline. He offered valuable tips for perfect marching, stressing that the movement of hands and legs must be in complete sync and harmony. He also encouraged students to become voices of change in the world through their kind actions.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, bringing the celebration to a proud and memorable close.
