FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATION

The Management and Staff commemorated Founder’s Day on February 20, 2026, celebrating the 76th birth anniversary of our Founder Principal and Director, Shri Gilroy Martins, with great reverence and enthusiasm. The occasion honoured his inspiring vision and enduring legacy that continues to guide the institution.

Students participated in meaningful activities under the theme ‘Growing with Our Values,’ creating gratitude cards, completing reflection worksheets, and designing ‘Window to the Future’ cards to express aspirations guided by the Founder’s principles. These activities helped them internalise his values in their daily lives.

Teachers participated in a reflective activity on the prompt, “If our Founder visited our class today…,” contemplating the standards and vision he would expect from dedicated educators. They also completed the statement, “Because of our Founder’s vision, today I am able to…,” sharing heartfelt reflections that reaffirmed their commitment to his mission.

The Secretary of St. Stephen’s School Society underscored the importance of Founder’s Day, noting that small acts of kindness, sincerity, and integrity outweigh grand gestures. The Director, the Principal, and the Vice-Principal reflected on the values that Sir Martins exemplified, encouraging everyone to draw inspiration from his life and imbibe his principles in both thought and action.

The celebration concluded with a solemn pledge reaffirming commitment to his vision, followed by a gratitude and birthday song, making the occasion both meaningful and memorable.
