We solemnly observed the twenty-first death anniversary of our Founder Principal and Director, Shri Gilroy Martins, on February 26, 2026. The occasion was observed with deep reverence and gratitude as we paid tribute to the visionary leader whose values and foresight laid the strong foundation of our institution.
The commemoration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Director, the Principal, and the Vice-Principal, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom that Sir Martins kindled in our school community. This was followed by a thoughtful reflection on his life and contributions, highlighting his unwavering commitment to education, discipline, and moral integrity—principles that transformed the school into a true temple of learning.
An inter-faith prayer service was held thereafter, reflecting Sir Martins’ firm belief in unity, peace, and inclusivity. In his address, the Principal reiterated the enduring relevance of his ideals and encouraged all to uphold and carry forward his rich legacy. The Director, in her speech, reflected on the Founder’s vision and dreams, emphasizing his steadfast devotion to education. She urged all present to draw inspiration from his life and to remain mindful and observant of the little things around us that make a meaningful difference.
The prayer service concluded with a solemn floral tribute to Sir Martins, honoring his memory with gratitude and reverence.
