Thirty-one Geography students of Grade XII Arts visited SD Mica Solusion, Kishangarh, on July 18, 2026, for an industrial exposure trip that brought classroom learning to life.
The students observed the complete mica processing cycle, from refining and grading raw minerals to preparing them for industrial use. They also learned about the properties of biotite (black mica) and explored the vital role of mica in the electronics industry due to its heat-resistant and insulating characteristics.
The visit provided valuable insights into mineral processing, industrial operations, and the practical applications of economic geography, making it an enriching and memorable learning experience.
