Twenty-eight students of Grades VI & VII participated in the ‘Project Kabir’ spearheaded by Ms. Shabnam Virmani, founder and conceptualizer of the project. The students learnt folk music, dohas of Kabir and other mystic poets, from the artists hailing from Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Bengal. Additionally, students have gained an appreciation for the tremendous diversity of folk music traditions, languages and rural culture. The project is an ongoing learning programme. The next session is scheduled for February 2023 at Udaipur.
